Composed by organist and teacher Leopold Belar, “Glej Zvezdice Božje” was chosen by Slovenia as the country’s traditional faith song for inclusion in the European Union songbook. The text speaks of the “ancient promise come true” and the Christ child “choosing poverty and teaching humility”. “Poslušajte, Vsi Ljudje” tells the story of St. Joseph and Mary seeking shelter in Bethlehem.
